I am a mixed media artist and designer based in Germany. My art is abstract with realistic elements, inspired by nature and human beings.

Studying design at the University in Schwäbisch Gmünd I learned about forms, colors, techniques and conceptional thinking. At the ArtEZ University of the Arts in the Netherlands I delved into a more artistic view of design. I learned to bring wild and extraordinary ideas to life, while working at the advertising agency Jung von Matt. With art workshops and exhibitions for ARTHELPS I helped socially disadvantaged kids finding joy and healing through the power of art. Since 2019 I have my own studio and atelier. I love sharing the space with other creative people and friends. I grow and blossom there, I am inspired and feel free to play, curiously working with new materials and finding my artistic language. As a mom of two boys I am staying fresh and active.

HOW DO I WORK?

I feel close to nature and get inspired by things around me. I find life and joy in doing art. There is a whole world to conquer. I love to work with different materials: pottery, fine arts, drawing, painting, but always intuitively with flowing emotions, that inspire and lead me. Courage and curiosity to try new things, making mistakes and staying sensitive to my surroundings are essential in my artistic journey.

MY ARTISTIC SIGNATURE

I am creating raw and real intimacy with mixed materials. I am developing and exploring ideas both conceptual and as a material based process: the material is leading and inspiring me. I love to work abstract to leave room for questions and fascination. But always integrating realistic elements to make my art recognizable and approachable. My art is inspired by nature and human beings, fluid and layered, shaped and tangible.
